Itinerary Overview 

Kaziranga(2N), Majuli(2N), Sibasagar(2N), Guwahati(2N)

 

 

Day 1: Guwahati to Kaziranga

 Arrival in Guwahati.Transfer to Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 5-6 hours drive).Check-in at the resort/hotel in Kaziranga.Rest and relax.Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

 

Day 2: Kaziranga Sightseeing

Morning elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park.Visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park. Afternoon jeep safari for wildlife spotting.Optional: Visit the nearby tea estates.Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

 

Day 3: Kaziranga to Majuli

Transfer to Majuli Island (Approx. 2-3 hours drive to ferry terminal + ferry ride).Explore the cultural attractions of Majuli Island, including Vaishnavite monasteries and traditional mask-making workshops.Overnight stay on Majuli Island.

 

Day 4: Majuli

 Participate in cultural activities on Majuli Island, such as pottery workshops or folk performances. Explore more of the island\\\'s natural beauty and tranquility.Overnight stay on Majuli Island.

 

Day 5: Majuli to Sivasagar

Transfer to Sivasagar (Approx. 6-7 hours drive).Visit historical landmarks such as the Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, and Kareng Ghar. Explore the Shiva Dol and Vishnu Dol temples.Overnight stay in Sivasagar.

 

Day 6: Sivasagar Sightseeing

Explore more of Sivasagar historical sites, including Joy Dol and Charaideo.Visit the Sivasagar Tank and enjoy a leisurely walk around the area.Overnight stay in Sivasagar.

 

Day 7: Sivasagar to Guwahati

 Drive back to Guwahati (Approx. 5-6 hours).Visit the Kamakhya Temple and Assam State Museum. Enjoy  dinner at a local restaurant.Overnight stay in Guwahati.

 

Day 8: Guwahati Sightseeing and Departure

 Visit the Umananda Temple on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River.Explore the Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden.Shopping at local markets for souvenirs. Drop-off at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station in the evening for departure.
